In 2016 the Northwest Straits Foundation completed a social marketing project to improve the effectiveness of outreach to recreational crabbers as we continue working toward our goal of eliminating harm from derelict shellfish pots in Puget Sound. Working with C+C Social Marketing & PR and EJ Visuals, a series of four short educational videos were produced and released in a six week Facebook ad campaign. The campaign reached over 300,000 individuals and received more than 350,000 video views. Below is a report provided by C+C summarizing the social marketing project.
