Ellen Goudie

Salish Sea Alliance first met Ellen when she was accepted into the Salish Sea Conservation Corps in early 2023. Ellen was earning her Aquaculture Sciences Certificate at Bellingham Technical College following her years working hands-on at a shellfish farm on San Juan Island. After the Salish Sea Conservation Corps, SSA hired Ellen to help run our stewardship program which has since evolved into a full time position supporting many of our programs. When Ellen is not shucking and chatting about all things oysters with her side business of Queen Tide Oyster Co. she enjoys skiing, live music, sharing meals, and spending time in and around the Salish Sea. She’s looking forward to broadening her skills and connections within marine conservation, particularly in the shellfish and kelp realm.
