Rondi Nordal

Though new to the Foundation, Rondi has been involved in environmental stewardship work since 2015. Originally from Edmonds, Washington, she started her career through environmental field monitoring and community engagement around issues related to salmon and water quality. Today, that passion has blossomed into a deep appreciation for the Salish Sea—from the white capped mountains to white capped waters and everything in between. With experience spanning both natural and social sciences, Rondi aims to support the team in matters of science and outreach. She is passionate about finding solutions to resource and land management issues that meet both environmental and human needs.

Outside of work she enjoys hiking and salmon viewing in the fall, snowshoeing and reading in the winter, starting new art projects in spring, and being outside on the water in summer.
