Taylor is dedicated to protecting and restoring nearshore habitats, with a focus on kelp forest ecology and conservation. Her research explores the resilience of bull kelp to environmental stressors, combining lab experiments and field monitoring to understand patterns of decline and persistence. Taylor aims to lead large-scale conservation initiatives and foster cross-boundary collaborations to safeguard marine ecosystems along the West Coast. With a strong foundation in research and community engagement, she is committed to advancing science-based restoration and management of coastal environments.
