This rambling evergreen shrub is known for its sweet fruit, hooked prickles, and impenetrable thickets that can outcompete native plants. Their stems can reach up to 40 feet and can root when they touch the ground.   

Their woody stocks range from green to purple-red, while their flowers are white. Removal is difficult, watch for thorns! Try to dig out root clusters, as they can survive intensive trimming.
