Tall Oregon Grape is renowned for its hardiness, medicinal uses, and stabilizing root systems.  They grow up to six feet tall and 3 feet wide. 

Tall Oregon Grape is often confused with Holly, due to its curved leaflets with sharp spines.  Tall Oregon Grape is more drought tolerant than low Oregon Grape and bears yellow flowers and dark blue berries.
