Sitka spruce is a large evergreen conifer native that can reach towering heights. Its needles are short and stiff, be careful they’re sharp! Their cones are long and scaled. Sitka spruce prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soils and provides habitat for a range of birds and other wildlife.
