Come learn about fishing in Puget Sound and how you can help prevent harm from lost fishing gear. Don Velasquez, from Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, will present on recreational and commercial fishing in Puget Sound.

Jason Morgan, Northwest Straits Foundation, will discuss impacts of lost fishing gear and the Foundation’s recreational crabber outreach program, and Julie Barber, Swinomish Tribal Community, will discuss tribal treaty fishing rights and what the Swinomish Tribe is doing to help protect its traditional territories.
