We work alongside citizen volunteers to collect meaningful scientific data to better understand the health of our shorelines and the physical and biological responses to the Northwest Straits Foundation’s shoreline restoration efforts. Volunteer opportunities include forage fish spawning surveys, beach seine surveys, kelp monitoring and more.
***Important*** Due to COVID-19 we are currently unable to host volunteers at our monitoring sites. As soon as we can we will get you all back on the frontlines of our restoration work! In the meantime, please fill out our volunteer form and let us know how you would like to help. Once we are allowed to have volunteers back in the field we’ll make sure to place you in your area of interest. Thank you for your understanding.
