The Northwest Straits Foundation is excited to
share our Passport to Marine Adventure
travel game with you.

It’s fun and free for the whole family. As spring and summer calls us outdoors, our Passport provides an engaging way to explore the beautiful shores and bays of the Salish Sea.

It’s simple: grab your family or friends; pick a site on our easy-to-use game app; and chart a course for adventure. Along your journey, you’ll learn about marine wildlife, coastal habitat and the Salish Sea. You’ll see breathtaking vistas and be inspired by this unique place we call home.

There are coastal exploration sites in the seven counties comprising the “Northwest Straits” region. These counties are: Clallam, Island, Jefferson, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom. We will be adding exploration sites monthly! The sites make great day trips or can be visited combined for a longer getaway. As you visit them, you’ll also earn points to redeem at local businesses for discounts on food, merch, or hotel stay.

We hope you enjoy the journey, and learn about life, health, and stewardship of the Salish Sea.

The Northwest Straits region has opportunities for you to get involved through volunteering with Marine Resources Committees, the Northwest Straits Commission and Northwest Straits Foundation. Together, we’re working everyday as scientists, conservationists, educators, and stewards to preserve this area for future generations. We invite you to join us.

Safe travels and adventures.
